Because there are still so many that have questions about exactly how a VA works and whether or not the services are right for your organization. I have taken the time to compile a list of our most frequently asked questions. And if there is anything that you don't see here, please feel free to submit your question through our contact us page.

Question? What are the benefits of using Omega Data?

When you work with Omega Data you immediately save money, because, you do not provide us with a work space, computer or other office supplies. There is no wasted time or downtime. You only pay us when we are actually working for you.

 As opposed to when you hire an employee, you are responsible for:

  • Workers compensation insurance
  • Social Security
  • Individual Income Tax
  • Medical Benefits
  • Vision Care Benefits
  • Dental Benefits
  • Sick pay, holiday pay, vacation pay
  • 401K Plan
  • Office Space, computer, office supplies, and other equipment

You also need to handle employee issues such as training, grievances, performance reviews, and terminations.

 

You only use Omega Data when needed at a much lower cost than hiring a full-time permanent or a temporary assistant. There are no employee related costs. You can always count on quality with Omega Data.

Question? How Do I Communicate with you?

Communication is done via e-mail, telephone, messengers, and/or fax. Depending on your location, in-person meetings can also be arranged. Local delivery and pick up services are available.

Question? How can I ensure my information remains confidential?

Omega Data truly understands the importance of confidentiality to your business and will sign a Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement with all clients upon request.

 We promise that all information will remain confidential. We will NEVER discuss our relationship or any details concerning you with anyone. Nor will we ever sell or rent your personal or professional information.

Question? How do I receive my completed projects?

You will receive your completed project by the method you request that works best for you. Depending on your location or situation that could be e-mail, fax, overnight delivery, messenger, or other options are available. Another option is utilizing software, such as Basecamp, or, Central Desktop, which will allow Omega Data to access your computer remotely from our office and perform the work directly on your computer.

Question? What do you charge and what are your terms?

Rates:

  • There are various rate options available including both hourly and monthly retiner rates. The option you choose will be dictated by the project or hours of assistance you require. Feel free to view our Fees Section.

Terms:

 Retainers require a signed contract, are non-refundable and are billed monthly in advance.

  • Final proof reading is the responsibility of the client, except when our proofreading services have been used. Errors bought to our attention within 24 hours of delivery will be corrected at no additional charge.
  • For New Clients(under 3 months), a 50% deposit is required with each project and invoices are due upon receipt.
  • For Existing Clients(over 3 months), invoices for our services will be provided with the completed work.
  • Also, For Existing Clients(over 3 months), invoice payment terms are strictly Net 14 days from the date of the invoice. All invoices not paid by the due date will be charged a late fee of 10 percent (10%) bi-weekly.
  • All expenses, such as postage, long distance telephone calls, special requested stationary, use of an outside printer or copier service, etc, will be itemized and billed to the client. If expenses exceed $50.00, those expenses will be billed in advance.
  • A $33.00 service fee will be charged on all returned checks.
  • Projects over $75.00 may require a 50% deposit.
  • Rush jobs, weekend rates, after hour rates, and holiday rates, may be charged an additional fee.
  • Pricing, terms, and conditions are subject to change.
