Prior to establishing Omega Data. I gained very valuable
experience working for some of the most well known
Companies in their Industry, including hospitals, pharmacies,
banks, non-profit etc. I bring to the table an extreme amount of
well-honed skills including over 12 years of experience
working in the Legal Publishing Industry for the worlds
Leading Electronic Publishing Company,( Lexis-Nexis). I also
worked in the Non-Profit Industry as well, for the American
Heart Association.
After leaving Lexis-Nexis in 2002. I subsequently went about
setting up business as a virtual assistant in 2003, whilst still
working other part-time secretarial/administrative jobs, so that
I could still have an income while building my business.
After extensive research on the internet, I don't know how, but I
found a great network of virtual assistants. I joined them and
through the network and other avenues, I was able to build up
a virtual assistant business. Then in 2004 I became a full
time virtual assistant.
And not only do I work as a virtual assistant, but, I have been
able to take advantage of my passion which was putting
together Gift Baskets, which started out as just a hobby for
friends and family members . It changed my life. This website
also gives me the opportunity to have another income stream
as an Infopreneur, which is becoming more and more a form
of passive income. My subject of choice as an Infopreneur is
to talk about becoming a virtual assistant. An Infopreneur can
talk about any subject in the world and earn an income from it.
But, I chose Virtual Assisting because of all of the time and
research I spent trying to build a reputable business, and if I
can save any aspiring VA's time and money, just by sharing
info, I certainly plan to do so.
